As of lately he has taken to social media to show off his songwriting skills completing song challenges where he writes short verses over instrumentals that mainstream artist release to see which talent they can find. one of which was award winning songwriter Eric Bellinger. Just keeping his fans engaged until he drops his newest project. As well landing a song placement in HBO's "We Own This City" a series about his hometown Baltimore telling stories of drugs & corruption. Ending 2022 with a bang he released his single "SLIDIN ft. 2RAWW" which quickly shook up the streets having everyone shouting "Aye Aye Aye Aye" Bringing in the year 2023. Icon is continuously working on his album, and is looking to release it before summer 2023. He calls it an experiment of sound cultures blending multiple genres into a HipHop format. Recently, March 4th Icon performed at the internet sensation DRUSKI's sold out "Coulda Shoulda Woulda" tour at the Lyric Opera House with 2,500 people in attendance where he received great applause as 1 of the top 2 performers of the night. But wait, there's more... for his birthday he released another single from the album. "Moves" is now available for consumption on all platforms. So far 2023 is looking up.
